Asked Questions About Bionetic/Bioenergetic Testing
Health Options, Inc. is a company dedicated to helping you find answers to your questions about how your body works and gives you the information you need to help yourself achieve optimal wellness. Health Options, Inc. provides homeopathic remedies, nutritional supplements, flower essences, and other modalities related to relieving stress within the body. It has been organized since 1998. How can Health Options help me? Health Options uses computerized biofeedback equipment, BodyScan 2010, to measure stress responses within the body. The average test takes about 15 minutes. With the information from the test homeopathic remedies specific to your body, along with nutritional support, will be offered. The equipment includes the following devices: (see photos below) How does the equipment work? The BodyScan 2010 system is based on the pioneering work of Reinhold Voll, M.D. of Germany . During the 1940's Dr. Voll was fascinated by the Chinese model of health, acupuncture. He wanted to know if there was a way to measure the energy, or "Chi", the Chinese practitioners manipulated with acupuncture needles. He discovered the acupuncture meridians carried an electrical energy that could be measured, much like a battery can be measured for "juice". He developed a way to differentiate the electrical measurements between healthy and sick people. It was so successful, the technique became known as ELECTRO ACUPUNCTURE ACCORDING TO VOLL, or EAV. Voll's devices became the forerunners of systems that are now classified by the FDA as biofeedback technology in the United States. How long does testing take? The average test takes about 16 minutes, sitting in the harness system. It requires no direct involvement from the client or practitioner during the test, thereby making it an ideal process for young children or even infants. After the computerized testing is completed, it takes an average appointment of one hour to appropriately select and prepare homeopathic, nutritional remedies that will be helpful to maintain good electrical integrate within the body. What is homeopathy? The man known as the father of homeopathy was Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician during the late 18th century. He was not satisfied with the results of the medicine of the day, so he researched the writings of the great philosophers of the past, looking for insight into how the body works. As a result of his studies, Dr. Hahnemann refined ideas of health that can be found as far back as in the writings of Hippocrates. The basic laws of health related to homeopathic view are: The Similia Principle- Illnesses can be treated with substances which produce symptoms similar to those of the illness. The Equalia Principle- illnesses can be treated with the same substances which cause the symptoms of the illness. The Contraria Principle- Illnesses can be treated with substances which produce symptoms opposite of those of the illness. While conventional or 'allopathic' drug treatment attempts to block or transform the body's processes with chemical substances - which is often reflected in sudden improvement of illness, homeopathy makes use of the body's own natural defensive and regulatory processes and helps the body heal itself, without direct intervention. The body is divinely designed to heal itself. Homeopathy is commonplace healthcare throughout the world, with homeopathic colleges and schools located in most countries.
FAQ
What is EAV/Electro dermal screening and how does it work? Electro acupuncture According to Voll - EAV or Electro Dermal Screening, is a type of electro-vibrational testing developed by Dr. Reinhold Voll in Germany in the 1940's and '50's to measure meridian flow in the human body. It is a type of testing that uses a small amount of voltage applied to the skin which tests the body's skin resistance. What is the BodyScan? The BodyScan 2010 is an FDA registered biofeedback/stress testing device that measures your physiological response to outside stimuli. It uses biofeedback by attaching electrodes to your head, fingers, wrists and ankles and EAV as described above. Will I "feel" it or get a shock? No, the whole process is totally painless. What is Bionetics? Bionetics is a term which embraces all aspects of the body's energetic and informational dimensions, or life systems. It involves stress testing using a wide variety of modalities including Chinese medicine, homeopathy, nutrition and bioresonance therapy. What is Bioenergetics? Bioenergetics is a term used to refer to all aspects of the growing science that combines modern biofeedback technology with principals of Traditional Chinese Medicine and vibrational medicine. Can I work with my regular physician and also use Bionetic testing? More and more physicians are open to an integrative or multi-dimensional approach to medicine. If you have a physician, it is a good idea to inform him/her of your decision to consult a Bionetics practitioner who uses homeopathic remedies and nutritional recommendations as part of your wellness program. What can I expect from my first session? The goal of a Bioenergetic practitioner is to help you bring your body into balance. It is documented that stress can lead to blocked energy which can lead to all types of diseases in the body. Although we don't treat symptoms or cure any disease, you will find that as your energy begins to flow more freely and your body systems become balanced, your symptoms will clear. How does stress affect my health? Chi Gong and Tai Chi master Ken Cohen defines stress as "a maladaptive response to change in the environment." Finding ways to deal with stress is critical to wellness. Although stress affects individuals differently, one fact is beyond dispute: stress, especially unresolved, long-term stress, is a primary contributor to psychological and biological illness. Do I need to fast? Fasting is not needed before your visit. In fact, we recommend that you follow your regular routine, and continue to take your supplements. Please bring and supplements you are taking with you to your visit. What will my wellness protocol include? Homeopathy, nutritional supplements, dietary changes and additions, flower essences, lifestyle and exercise may all help bring your body and meridians into balance. You and your practitioner will work together to determine the best course of action for you in your journey toward wellness. What is homeopathy? Homeopathy is the healing discipline established by Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. According to Hahnemann, the proper remedy for a symptom or illness is the substance that would, in a healthy person, produce the same set of symptoms exhibited in a sick patient. It is widely used in Europe and is making a comeback in the United States. When will I start feeling better? Natural healing can take time. You may not experience wellness overnight, but you may notice slight changes in your health after just one visit. Some patients have been known to experience remarkable improvement in health status after just one visit, while other situations require more long-term care. Your healing depends on many factors: length of condition or symptoms, seriousness of condition, and most of all your willingness to follow the recommended protocol. Be assured that healing is occurring on a cellular level, even though you may not consciously feel it, and you may begin to notice subtle improvements in your energy as weeks go by. How often should I be tested? We recommend getting tested on a regular basis for a minimum of six visits before expecting dramatic results. This is a process that will set you on a journey towards feeling better, having more energy, and looking younger. How come I've never heard of this before? This type of testing is fairly new to the United States, although Meridian testing had been happening in Europe and Eastern countries for centuries. It is only in the last few years of the computer revolution that the testing had become fast and accurate enough to be utilized enough in most offices. Luckily there are many books about health and wellness. See the attached recommended reading list for more information.
